Torasan Makes Excuses , Otoko wa Tsurai yo Torajir no Seishun? is a 1992 Japanese comedy film directed by Yoji Yamada. It stars Kiyoshi Atsumi as Torajir Kuruma Torasan, and Kumiko Goto as his love interest or Madonna. ToraSan Makes Excuses is the fortyfifth entry in the popular, longrunning Otoko wa Tsurai yo series.

Torasan Makes Excuses was released theatrically on December 26, 1992. In Japan, the film was released on videotape in 1993 and 1996, and in DVD format in 2002 and 2008.
